- Published in English or Arabic, in 170 sheets, the 1:50,000 series covers only the west part of the country. In this area, it is the basic cartography.

- Published in Arabic only, in 32 sheets, a part of the 1:100,000 series in the south-west is derived from the 1:50,000 while the other part is an original mapping extending the 1:50 000 series on its eastern edge. In this area, it is the basic cartography.

Maps are sold as original colour prints at YR 1,000 per item. Reproduction of town maps are sold as diazo prints, upon request at YR 1,000 per item.

All the above maps are in Universal Transverse Mercator: Zone 38 North, Datum WGS 72.

In addition to these regular series, a certain number of maps, among which:

- a Topographic Map (scale 1:500,000) in two sheets covering most of the west of Yemen in Arabic or English. Also a reduction of this map in one sheet only (scale 1:1,000,000),

- a Tourist Map (scale 1:1,250,000) covering the whole country in Arabic or English,

East of the country is covered with maps by the Military Survey. These maps in Arabic only can be obtained in the Authority's offices . The largest mapping scale is 1:100,000. Smaller scales (from 1:200,000 to 1:1,000,000) are also available.

- the 1:250 000 series is part of Joint Operations Graphic-Ground series (JOG Maps), covering the world.
